With Worcester in the rankings as the snowiest city in the United States, here are some tips to help you stay sustainable in the snow:
- Get outside. Shoveling snow or just going for a walk are useful and keep you active!
- Grab a book. Here’s a suggestion of some good sustainability books.
- Learn some bike maintenance. Get your bike ready to go for spring! Cycles of Change offers open shop hours from 3 to 5:30 p.m. every Sunday in the Maywood Hall basement. (Like Cycles on Change on Facebook.)
- Snag a new-to-you outfit and check out the Valentine’s festivities at the Community Thrift Store.
- Try a new recipe. Use the extra time inside to teach yourself a new culinary skill, preferably one with a local or organic ingredient.
