Sustainability in the curriculum

Did you know that Clark offers more than 100 courses related to sustainability for undergraduates and graduates? Courses are offered by departments all over campus, so check out the Academic Catalog to find your next sustainability course.

Clark has several degree programs in all levels from undergraduate to Ph.D. There are even dual degree programs with the Graduate School of Management (GSOM) in Environmental Science and Policy, or Community Development and Planning, with the International Development, Community and, Environment (IDCE) Department.

Two great institutes also find their home at Clark. The Mosakowski Institute for Public Enterprise seeks to improve, through the successful mobilization of use-inspired research, the effectiveness of government and other institutions in addressing social concerns, including environmental sustainability and global change. The George Perkins Marsh Institute conducts collaborative and interdisciplinary research on human-environment relationships. The Marsh Institute works within a wide range of research themes such as risks and hazards, the human dimensions of global environmental change, resource and environmental policy, industrialization and globalization, and the development and application of Geographic Information Science across multiple disciplines.
