Professor Emeritus S. Leslie Blatt receives the Distinguished Alumni Award at McCaskey High School in Lancaster, Pa.

Professor S. Leslie Blatt has been presented with a Distinguished Alumni Award from McCaskey High School in Lancaster, Pa. Blatt graduated from the school in 1953.

Blatt is professor emeritus of physics and education, and former dean of graduate studies and research at Clark. He has a doctorate in physics from Stanford University and is the former chair of the department of physics at Ohio State University. In recent years, he has been working with public school teachers to develop better ways of teaching science at the pre-college level.
