Dear Faculty and Staff,

My name is Ryan Marsh. A group of students and I are running an event this Thursday, March 14, to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club here in Worcester. We are planning a pie throwing and eating day; yes, one of the events will allow students to throw pies at other people. The pies are made of whipped cream and will not have anything else in them.

Would any faculty members be interested in helping us raise money for this worthy cause by having a few pies thrown at them? We know that this is an outlandish request, but we feel that if even a few faculty members volunteer the day would be a great success and would help raise more money for our cause.
