DiIorio's 'Dead Ringer' getting raves on the Cape

The Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre production of Associate Professor Gino DiIorio’s “Dead Ringer” has been garnering positive reviews for its current run.

The Provincetown Banner (Wicked Local)’s review, “‘Dead Ringer’ is right on in Wellfleet,” said, ““Dead Ringer,” now on stage at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, is made of the gruesome and gripping stuff that the harbor theater does so well.”

The Cape Cod Times, in “‘Dead Ringer’ mines dark emotions,” noted, “Only one of three people in “Dead Ringer” is actually locked up — in a root cellar. But the other two have created prisons of their own. And that is at least one of the messages of Gino DiIorio’s play, a Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater production at its Harbor Stage for the next month. … Brendan Hughes, the impresario of the Harbor Stage and director of the play, presents a tightly wound production, intense and suspenseful.”
