We have had to make some changes in deadlines for study abroad applications and want to be sure that students are well aware of these changes before returning to campus in August. These changes have to do with the large volume of students applying for spring 2011, and with the turn-around time it takes to review and approve these applications. In addition, most programs require significant time to apply for a student visa.

The most important changes are:

• Deadline for picking up a study abroad application is Sept. 1. NO new applications will be distributed after Sept. 1.
• ALL Spring 2011 study abroad applications are due by no later than Sept. 15. Some applications that were distributed during the spring semester indicate an Oct. 1 deadline; please note that this date is now Sept. 15.
