Book signing set for Sept. 12

Paul Ropp, Research Professor of History, has published China in World History through the Oxford University Press. “I try to summarize all of Chinese history, with special attention to China’s relations with the outside world, in 155 pages,” he said.

On Sunday, Sept. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m., Ropp will be at Barnes and Noble in Millbury (70 Worcester Providence Turnpike) for a book signing.

According to the publisher, “Here is a fascinating compact history of Chinese political, economic, and cultural life, ranging from the origins of civilization in China to the beginning of the 21st century.
