Aiello elected to Girl Scouts board of directors

AielloAndrea Aiello, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Services for the Graduate School of Management, was recently elected the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts.  She was nominated for the position by former Clark president John Bassett.

Prior to her recent appointment to the position of Associate Dean, she served GSOM as the Assistant Dean and Program Director.  She has been an administrator at Clark for the past 8 years.  In her new role she will be responsible for servicing close to 500 full and part-time, undergraduate and graduate business students, planning schedules and coordinating faculty coverage in accordance with accreditation standards.  She works closely with the deans and other administrators on budgeting for the department, and oversees the advising, registration, and student services functions for the department.  In addition, she is a member of numerous department and University committees.

Before she came to Clark, Aiello held administrative positions for several other area colleges.  She has been working in higher education for over 20 years.  She holds an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Public Administration.

She has been a co-advisor for the Sutton, Mass. Venture Crew, and is an active supporter of the Women’s Initiative for the United Way.
