Dr. Mandisa Mbali will present this free lecture on women in South African AIDS activism. She is a postdoctoral associate at Yale School of Medicine. Her research interests are postapartheid AIDS policymaking, gender and sexuality in the history of AIDS activism and governmental adoption of AIDS dissidence in South Africa. She has also worked with the hyper-endemic working group aids2031.
