Introduction to Indoor Rowing Spin Class

Sponsored by Clark Athletics

  • Classes begin February 8 and end on March 3 (8 classes)
  • Classes will be held Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from noon to 1 p.m. in the Kneller Athletic Center Rowing Room (on locker room level)
  • Free, but limited to 13 participants

Why learn to use the Indoor Rower?

1) Low impact exercise that uses all major muscle groups
2) Rowing burns more calories per hour than any other sport
3) Indoor Rowers can be used as both cardio and strength training
4) It’s FUN!

Classes will cover…

1) Proper Use of the Rowing Machine
2) Explanation of how rowing impacts you physiologically
3) How to design a personal program for you so you can get the most out of your classes – every body is different
