The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program is excited to announce that there are five second-round semifinalists in the 2011 U-Reka Big Idea Contest!

These five finalists will now be evaluated by an outside panel of judges. Student ideas include a green roof on Goddard Library or the Sackler Science Building, a University Police bike patrol unit, a self-service machine business, a World Cafe and an after-school sports program for neighborhood youth.

From these  finalists, three will make it through to the final peer voting round.
