Sharon Krefetz, Andrea B. and Peter D. Klein ’64 Distinguished Professor, recently participated in a regional forum on “The Affordable Housing Landscape in the Worcester/MetroWest Corridor,” which paid special attention to Chapter 40B.

The program examined impediments and opportunities related to development in the Worcester/MetroWest Corridor in an attempt to identify the scope for creative civic action.

The forum was moderated by Rev. Robert Bachelder of the Worcester Area Mission Society, UCC. Joining Prof. Krefetz on the panel were the Honorable Joseph O’Brien, Mayor of Worcester; Richard Walega, New England Regional Director, HUD; and Aaron Gornstein, Executive Director, Citizens Housing and Planning Association.
