“Icyizere: hope” is a documentary by Kenyan film director Patrick Mureithi. Mr. Mureithi will be present to introduce his film, which is about trauma and reconciliation among perpetrators and survivors of the Rwandan genocides. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with scholars Giorgia Doná, Suzanne Kaplan, Laurie Pearlman, Ervin Staub, Pamela Steiner and Adin Thayer.
