"Try it Sober" – New Support Group for Sober Students at Clark

College?  “Try it Sober”!

If you are a Clark student living a sober lifestyle (abstainer, in recovery, etc.) or interested in working toward your sobriety, then please consider coming to the first meeting of this new support group.  This group is designed to support students who are living a life free of alcohol and other drugs.  Led by Dr. James DiReda (Director of Counseling Services) and Jason Zelesky (Associate Dean of Students and Wellness Outreach Coordinator), “Try it Sober” is a community of students working to support each other and provide a weekly safe place to meet, talk and be together.

Meetings are Wednesdays from 3-4 pm in the Klein Conference Room.  Meetings are every Wednesday and all are welcome.  Klein Conference Room is located behind the Dining Hall on the second floor near the Winton Faculty Dining Room.

Meetings are confidential.  Students are encouraged to attend if they are looking for a sober support network on campus.  Come check it out … meet similar folks … build a strong, healthy community.

Questions?  Contact Dr. DiReda at jdireda@clarku.eduor Dean Zelesky at jzelesky@clarku.edu.

The first meeting is Wednesday, September 22.
