Professor Gino DiIorio’s play “Reparation” will be given a staged reading at the Davenport Theatre, 354 West 45th Street, NYC on Monday, Feb. 23. The reading will feature HBO’s Frankie Faison (The Wire, Silence of the Lambs), along with Ty Jones and Catherine Eaton.

“Reparation” was inspired by Brown University’s 2006 Committee on Slavery and Justice, a report that examined the University’s historical entanglement with slavery. This reading is sponsored through a generous gift by Andrea and Peter Klein ’64.
