Nov. 30: LGBT Asylum Taskforce reps to discuss work on sexuality, human rights

Representatives of the Worcester LGBT Asylum Taskforce will give short presentations describing their work on sexuality and human rights. Pastor Judy Hanlon (Hadwen Park Congregational Church) will discuss religious homophobia; attorney Lisa Weinberg will provide an introduction to the law regarding asylum based on sexual orientation; and several clients of the project will give an indication of their personal histories. There should also be time for discussion afterward.
