Marsh/Kasperson seminar series continues with Geller lecture: ‘Reversing Land Degradation in Western China”

The George Perkins Marsh Institute and Jeanne X. Kasperson Library Seminar Series continues on  Thursday, Oct. 27 with the 2011-2012 Jeffrey Geller Endowed Lecture. It will be given by Jeffrey Bennett, Professor, Environmental Management and Development Program and Director, Environmental Economics Research Hub, Australian National University. He will speak about “Reversing Land Degradation in Western China.”

Seminars are open to all and will take place from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in the University Center’s Lurie Conference Room. The speaker’s 40 to 45 minute presentation will be followed by 15 to 20 minutes of questions and discussion — interaction with speakers is encouraged! Light refreshments will be provided. Please feel free to bring your own brown-bag lunch if desired.
