Clark students assist local organizations, exercise their muscles on Just Do It Day

Approximately 200 Clark University students volunteered at 13 area organizations on Saturday, April 9, for their 8th annual “Just Do It Day” of service.  The day was followed by an on-campus celebration in the Grind.

This year, students helped with clean-up projects at the following locations:  AIDS Project Worcester, The Boys & Girls Club, Camp Harrington, Clark Arboretum, Clark Community Thrift Store and Recycling Center, Greater Worcester Land Trust, Jeremiah’s Inn, Pernet Family Health Services, The Regional Environmental Council, University Park, Worcester Art Museum, and Worcester Housing Authority.

This annual event is organized by Clark’s Making a Difference Scholars and the Community Engagement & Volunteering (CEV) Center.  It also receives funding from the Student Council.
