NuRide is a nifty Web service that lets you earn points when you reduce your transportation carbon footprint! Share a ride, carpool, take a bus, walk or bike — and earn redeemable points every time! It’s part of the Mass. Dept. of Transportation, and <a href="membership is FREE.

Here’s how it works:

Join NuRide online. Find rides going your way or just go for the points. It’s all free, all the time.

Travel Green: carpool with colleagues, ride share to the store, bike to a friend’s house, hop on a bus; telecommuting counts too! Enjoy your rewards!

Once you are signed up, just confirm your green trips and earn points you can redeem for coupons and discounts to restaurants and retailers; shows, movies and attractions.

The more green you go, the more points you earn!
