Bloomberg Professional Software Tutorial Session: Friday, February 20th

Did you know that graduate and undergraduate students have access to the same Bloomberg data that professional traders use? Bloomberg Professional, which is installed on over ten computers in Carlson Hall, provides students with access to news, analytics, communications, charts, liquidity, functionalities and execution services. With this software, students are able to build customized market analyses using Bloomberg’s Launchpad 2010, Bloomberg’s real-time platform.

Interested in learning how to use the software? Come to Sackler Science Center (room 120) on Friday, February 20th from 2:00pm-3:30pm to gain a better understanding of the Bloomberg Professional Software. There will be an introduction where students will learn how to establish an account and how to use the online help service. There will also be time dedicated to learning about the software’s features including stock data, fixed income data, portfolio analysis and more. The session will conclude with a question and answer portion to ensure that students have a clear understanding of the Bloomberg Professional Software. This session is open to any GSOM and Clark students who are looking for an introduction to the software or have just started to use it. First year MSF students and MBA Finance students are strongly encouraged to attend!
