All full-time MBA and MSF students are required to complete career training and an internship as part of their degree requirements.  If you do not complete these you will need to review the waiver information below and submit paperwork to the GSOM Stevenish Career Management Center to waive this degree requirement.

Waivers for the Career Training Cohorts and Required Internships:

Students may qualify to waive the internship and/or training for one of the following reasons:

A) Working in another country immediately after graduation with no plans to use Optional Practical Training (OPT)

B) Completing an internship in a country other than the United States

C) 3 or more years of professional business work experience

D ) Full time job returning to after graduation

E) MBA or MSF student participating in an exchange program with no intention of receiving a degree from GSOM

F) Unable to obtain an internship despite a thorough search or to complete training – requires the completion of 5 informational interviews
