Clark University’s English Department would like to congratulate our former student, Manal Ahmed, for her acceptance into Oxford University’s 2026 cohort of Oxford Pakistan Programme scholars! She is studying to earn an MSt, or Master of Studies, in World Literatures. Her work “spans literature, education and development, with a research interest in climate and literature.”

The program highlights “academic excellence, ambition and a commitment to creating meaningful change.” Ahmed is a writer from Karachi, Pakistan, and studied English, creative writing & political science here at Clark.

We wish Manal Ahmed the best of luck during her studies at Oxford!
