Horizons For Homeless Children Collection Bin

Professor Barbara Bigelow’s Undergraduate Class “The Art and Science of Management” is split into groups each semester to complete a service learning project. This semester, one student group has partnered with Horizon’s for Homeless Children, an organization focused exclusively on the needs of young homeless children and their families. These students have organized a campus-wide drive to collect items that Horizon’s for Homeless Children have requested in order to fulfill their mission.

Collection Bins have been placed throughout Clark University’s Campus; one is located right in Carlson Hall (in the lobby on the second floor!). Items that will be collected include:

  • Clorox Wipes
  • Tissues
  • Play Doh (name brand only)
  • Colored Pencils
  • Hand Sanitizer

Donating items would not only help Horizon’s for Homeless Children, but also the undergraduate students who are actively learning and practicing key management skills with the implementation of this service learning project. Please e-mail Andre Toribio with any questions.
