Student Sustainability Fund General Interest Meeting: Thursday, October 9th

Are you interested in helping create a more sustainable campus at Clark University? Clark University’s Student Sustainability Fund (SSF) allocates $20,000 each year to support student-designed, student-led, cross-sector collaborative projects that will have a deep and lasting impact on campus sustainability. In the last two years Clark students have been awarded SSF funds for a total of 17 projects such as biodiversity gardens, an electric vehicle, composting and recycling infrastructure, water bottle filling stations, and a solar-powered charging station. There is plenty more to do!

Students who have ideas for sustainable campus improvements or want to learn more about the Student Sustainability Fund are encouraged to attend the SSF General Interest meeting on Thursday, October 9th at 7:00pm in the Grind. The General Interest meeting will allow you to grasp a better understanding of how SSF operates in terms of applying for funding, the project process, and much more.

Please contact Clark University’s Director of Sustainability, Jenny Isler, with any questions. The Student Sustainability Fund website also provides additional information concerning project details and guidelines.
