Clark Women in Business is looking for the new leadership team starting in January 2014

The Clark Women in Business (CWIB) organization encourages the development of graduate students as leaders and business professionals. The group promotes individual growth and goal achievement, and helps graduate students to reach out to each other to create strong support networks.
We are looking for 1st year students/ students who would not be graduating prior to December 2014 (MSF/MBA/Dual Degree) to join the leadership team. The candidates must be outgoing, driven and willing to help their fellow students succeed. The deadline for application is Nov 29th 2013.

Available positions: 
 
PRESIDENT
Description:
*       The President serves as the primary contact person for CWIB as well as representative.
*       Leads the meetings, consults with the other officers in organizing events, oversees that CWIB is fulfilling its responsibilities properly.
*       Serve as liaison between CWIB, administration, the faculty, organizations, firms, and persons.
 
VICE PRESIDENT
Description:
*       The vice president of the CWIB functions to assist the President with her responsibilities in her absence.
*       Provides input for events and programming, and works collaboratively with other board members to promote CWIB.
 
VICE PRESIDENT COMMUNICATION
Description:
*       Compiles and distributes electronic (facebook, Twitter, QQ etc.) and paper (i.e Posters, Flyers) CWIB updates about upcoming or ongoing events.
      Prepares posters and write-ups for the events 
 
VICE PRESIDENT MARKETING
Description:
*       Formulate better strategies to reach out to entire Clark Community.
      Takes charge of Social Media Marketing 
 
GENERAL SECRETARY
Description:
*       The secretary attends CWIB meetings, takes notes, and writes minutes. The secretary also assists in brainstorming, planning, and executing CWIB events.
*       Assists in coordinating and organizing all CWIB events
*       Primary contact for all matters dealing with events.
 
 
TREASURER
Description:
*       The treasurer is responsible for requisitioning funds for CWIB and using the fund appropriately.
*       Collaborates with the other officers to determine how funds will be spent.
*       Keeps accurate records of all financial transactions.
