New Net Impact Leadership Team

Greetings GSOM Students,

The Clark University Net Impact Chapter would like to inform the GSOM student body of the new leadership team that will be taking over for the Spring semester.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Net Impact, we are a network of over 30,000 individuals who want to use our jobs and skills to tackle the world’s toughest problems, We put our business skills to work for the good throughout every sector, showing the world that it is possible to make a net impact that benefits not just the bottom line, but the people and planet too.

Our chapter at Clark brings together like-minded students seeking to build their personal networks and take concrete action to make a significant impact while simultaneously developing a new generation of leaders who use their power in business to create a better world.

Our continuing leaders from last spring include:

Jered Ulschmid, MBA ’13: Co-President

Edison Reyes, MBA/CDP ’14: Co-President

Juan Urbina, MBA ’13: VP of Events

Our new leaders and their reasons for why they decided to join our leadership team include:

Adriana Gallardo, MBA/CDP ’14 – VP of Community Engagement: “As a dual degree student in the MBA/MA in Community Development and Planning programs, I joined Net Impact as  the VP of Community Engagement to bridge my passion for solving community issues using business strategies and techniques.”

Mennge Wang, MSF ’14 – VP of Campus Greening: “I decided to become the NI leader is due to a strong sense of responsibility that I really want to be involved in, to help others, and make a big change.”

Muhammad Khalid, MBA ’14 – VP of Finance: “I want to be a change maker. I believe in giving back to my community and the world around me. I see myself as a social entrepreneur in the future.”

Sirjana Ale, MBA ’14 – VP of Career Development: “I feel every individual can find a place in a non-corporate world. The fun of it is when we learn along the way of where we stand and how to give back, rather than look back and questions our ‘if onlys.’ I for one wanted to take this opportunity to learn to think strategically and lead responsbily.”

Tholoana Masupha, MBA ’14 – VP of Outreach: “I decided to be a leader for Net Impact because I share its mission, goals and values and furthermore I believe my leadership skills will be harnessed and used to great efficiency.”

Sisi Zhang, MSF ’13 – VP of Alumni Affairs: “I want to devote myself to nonprofit industry, and net impact is an awesome organization. I want to be a leader since I want my voice to be heard and I enjoy being an event planner and a coordiantor.”

Elnara Salimova, MBA ’14 – VP of Marketing and Communication: “I have a lot of energy and I am very passionate of what I am doing. I like motivating people and enjoy accomplishing complex tasks in a group environment. I decided to join Net Impact to make a social and environmental impact, to get the experience of work with enthusiastic people, who are thinking about the welfare of future generations and who know how it is possible to make changes.”
