Global Novations and IABC Boston invite you to a half-day professional development seminar Diversity & Inclusion: What Does Communications Have to Do with It?

Jan Thibodeau, ABC, Vice President, Consulting, Global Novations, will serve as moderator of a panel discussion featuring four Diversity & Inclusion experts. She brings more than 20 years of organizational development experience helping clients such as American Greetings and Fortune 500 companies in the financial and pharmaceutical industries implement Diversity & Inclusion strategies.

Panelists:

Renita L. Jefferson, Director of Leadership Development and Diversity & Inclusion, American Greetings. Renita has aligned a multi-year Diversity and Inclusion strategy to instill the value, “We care about people and treat them with respect.”

Demetrai Mitchell, Director, Diversity & Inclusion, Raytheon Company’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business. Demetrai is responsible for directing a strategy that cultivates an inclusive environment across IDS.

Greg Morris, Senior Consultant, Global Novations. Greg’s expertise includes global and multicultural teamwork, intercultural communications, inclusive recruiting, and non-traditional diversity such as communication style.

Thomas L. Saltonstall, Director of Diversity & Inclusion at Bunker Hill Community College. Thomas has a strong track record in diversity initiatives and civil rights advocacy. With a student body representing 97 countries and speaking 75 languages, the college is one of the most diverse in New England.
