The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission 2012 Summer Honors Program

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has opened its applications to College (Undergraduate) and Business (Graduate) students interested in the 2012 Summer Honors Program.  Applications will be reviewed until February 29, 2012.

The Summer Honors Business Program introduces students pursuing MBAs and other graduate degrees in such areas as accounting, economics, finance, human resource management and information technology/information security, among others, to the regulation of the securities markets and the work of the Commission. Students have the opportunity to work for ten weeks during the summer at theCommission’s Washington, DC headquarters or in one of its 11 regional offices nationwide. Each intern is assigned to one of the SEC’s offices or divisions for a ten-week period.

The Summer Honors College Program gives undergraduate students the opportunity to become acquainted with the regulation of the securities markets and the activities of the Commission. Students from undergraduate schools across the country work at the Commission’s Washington, DC, Headquarters and in a number of our Regional Offices nationwide. Each intern is assigned to one of the SEC’s offices or divisions for a ten-week period.

Application Review has begun. The posting will officially close on February 29, 2012.
