Saving Files in Computer Lab

ITS has discovered that students are saving many large files to the hard drives on the desktops in the computer lab.  As a consequence, not enough memory space remains on the computers for them to function well.  During the week after the Thanksgiving break ITS will install a script on the computers that will remove all profiles every night, including any files that students may have saved to the hard drives during the day.  You may save files to the hard drive during a work session, but before you finish for the day you should transfer the file to either your file share on the server or a flash drive.  If you need any advice about how to manage your files, please feel free to contact the Help Desk.
