Dear GSOM Students,
Just as a reminder, GSOM still has a number of workshops that are available this fall. These workshops include:
Excel-Financial Application: Fri, Oct 28 – 9:00am to 12:00pm
Risk Management: Mon, Oct 31 – 2:45pm to 6:30pm
Breakeven Analysis: Fri, Nov 4 – 1:30pm to 5:30pm
Introduction to SPSS: Tues, Nov 8 – 2:45pm to 6:30pm
Advanced Excel: Fri, Nov 18 – 9:00am to 12:00pm
If you are interested in learning a few new skills, there is still time to sign up! Students may registers online at www.clarku.edu/GSOMfall2011workshops.
Each workshop is $30. This fee allows students to take part in the workshops they register for, receive recognition for their participation on their transcript, as well as give them access to workshop and supplemental material on Cicada pages created for each workshop.
Once students have registered online, the $30 fee will be charged to the student’s account. Students will have to pay the workshop fee prior to the workshop (deadlines will be given for each workshop and communicated to students in advance). If students register for a workshop, but do not attend and do not notify GSOM Student Services by 5:00 p.m. the day before the workshop that they will not be attending, they will still be charged the $30 workshop fee, and their transcript will indicate that they did not receive credit for it.
Students with any type of hold on their accounts (due to outstanding balances, missing immunization documentations, etc…) will not be allowed to register for workshops until the holds have been taken care of. Holds are posted in CU Web.
