Module B American Language & Culture Courses

There are a few seats available in the GSOM American Language & Culture classes being offered in Module B. These courses are open to all GSOM international students, and are the perfect opportunity to improve your professional communication skills in a structured format.

A Conversation class will be offered on Wednesday mornings from 9 – 10:30 am (CRN# 21927). Improve your English and pronunciation abilities by talking with a specially trained ESL conversationalist. By listening and practicing specific conversational skills you will be able to have a conversation with just about anyone including prospective employers. Join us for a fun filled hour and half of
topics about life in America.

A Writing Workshop class will be offered on Fridays from 10:30 am – 12 pm (CRN#21926). Tweak your English writing skills! If writing English is giving you the blues come and practice the KISS method. Pardon  the expression,  KISS means Keep It Simple Stupid. This tip and others will make your emails, papers and resumes crisp and understandable. Lengthy discourse is contrary to the American fast paced way of life. Editing writing samples and creating your own messages will give you a professional first impression. Don’t let your writing mistakes hold you back. Compete to win in a crowded job market!

Students can register online through CUWeb, or by emailing Deanna at DScaramangos@clarku.edu. A $100 course fee will be charged for each language and culture course that students enroll in.
