Classes CANCELLED Monday, August 29, 2011

TO:  Members of the Clark Community

FROM:  David Angel, President

SUBJECT:  Hurricane Irene

With the high probability of Hurricane Irene coming our way, we wanted to let you know the following:

Clark will be open for returning student check-in on Sunday and Monday.  That said, we strongly encourage returning  students to travel when it is most safe.  It is much more advisable to stay home with families where hopefully it is safer.  Staff will be available in the residence halls to check people in on both days.  If the weather is poor, Financial Aid and Student Accounts may not be available to clear students.

ALL Classes will be cancelled for Monday.  In the off chance that the storm does not hit us, that decision stands regardless of the weather.

As of now Clark will be open for business on Monday, other than classes. In accordance with our inclement weather policy, we may announce a closing based on weather conditions, and people should watch the webpage and listen to the appropriate media stations.

As far as students already on campus, we are putting together support services should they be needed.  Details on those will be available soon.

We will put updates on the Clark web site; please check there for any further developments
