Checkerboard is currently working on developing and test marketing new consumer products.  These products are not invitation or stationery products.  If they test successfully, Checkerboard will want to scale up and release these products into new markets outside of their current known distribution channels.   Outcome of assignment is a product launch plan with a primary emphasis on market analysis, market identification, marketing plan of action and product introduction plan for these new products. Selected candidate will be required to sign a non-disclosure/non-compete before beginning assignment.

This would be a remote work assignment.  Internship supervisor works remotely on the west coast.  All work would be done via phone and email. Would like to start as soon as possible. This is an unpaid internship.

Qualifications: Marketing course work, entrepreneurial company understanding (e.g. ability to develop marketing plans that would execute for the biggest bang with very limited or non-existent supporting budget), strategic planning course work.
