The Clark Social Entrepreneurship Club event – S. Kristin Kim, founder of Sansori

The Clark Social Entrepreneurship Club will be hosting S.Kristin Kim, founder of Sansori, on Monday April 25th at 11:30am in Grace Conference Room. This talk is great for any I&E student that is interested in Social Entrepreneurship or wants to learn more about what it means to be a Social Entrepreneur. 

S. Kristin Kim will be speaking on “Making Money While Doing Good: Integrating the best of for-profit & non-profit sectors.” This talk explores lessons learned from becoming a social entrepreneur and qualities found in both successful social entrepreneurs and effective leaders.

Biography:

S. Kristin Kim is the founder of Sansori (http://www.sansori.org/jam_sessions/jam_sessions.html), a global education initiative where students gain tools for financial, organizational, and inner sustainability, and launch social enterprises.  She was president of AllLearn, an online educational venture among Oxford, Stanford, and Yale Universities, that served over 11,000 students from over 75 countries. As Director for New Initiatives for Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, she was instrumental in developing the Women’s Leadership Board. She also practiced law at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s New York and London offices, and specialized in international capital market transactions.
