“Sam and Dede” or“My Dinner with Andre the Giant” will be produced by the Washington Stage Guild as the final plan in its 2019–20 season (March 19 to April 12, 2020). The play follows the unusual relationship between playwright Samuel Beckett and the young Andre the Giant, who went on to become a professional wrestling icon.
