With the exception of “Hide and Seek,” which was co-written with Cathy Quinlan and shot by Jim Denault, Friedrich has been the writer, director, cinematographer, sound recordist, and editor of all her films.

This event will include a screening of Friedrich’s 1987 lesbian classic, “Damned If You Don’t,” as well as her newest documentary, “I Cannot Tell You How I Feel,” followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker.
