Dear GSOM student,
In order to better prepare students for the quantitative requirements of the STAT4300 Data Driven Decision Making (DDDM) course, we are requiring an assessment of your current level of basic statistics knowledge. Based on your Hawkes assessment results you may be required to complete an online statistics tutorial prior to starting the DDDM course. Students who are required to complete the tutorial will get credit for doing so in the DDDM course. The estimated time frame to complete this online tutorial is a maximum of 20 hours and it is completely self-paced. Students should plan accordingly to allow sufficient time to complete this prior to the first week of classes starting January 17, 2017 as you will be dropped from DDDM if it is not completed.
Instructions on how to take the online assessment are listed below. After taking the assessment you will be notified of your results and given instructions, if necessary, on how to enroll in the online Hawkes tutorial. Statistical skill based reviews and assessments are the basis of the Hawkes tutorial. Students planning to enroll in DDDM this Spring should take this assessment no later than December 16th 2016 at 11:59pm.

Allow 1 hour to complete the exam, uninterrupted. This is a timed exam with a max time to complete of 1 hour. You may take this assessment once.

- The exam will be open October 28th-December 16th 2016 and the online prep will be available October 28th until the first day of your DDDM class the week of January 16th 2017.
