Happy First Week of CLASSES CLARKIES!

Net Impact would like to announce that this Friday, August 28th at 12:00 PM we will be having a Net Impact Interest/Welcome Back Meeting in Carlson Hall Room 128!!! Any current members or Clark Grad students interested in Net Impact are welcome to join us for a brief presentation on what Net Impact is, what events we have planned for this year, and how you can get more involved!

FREE FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED!!!

Below are a few highlights of the events this Fall which we will discuss further at our meeting on Friday –

• The Net Impact Conference which will take place in Seattle from November 5 – 7. We already have 4 Net Impact Members signed up for this conference, equal to the number who went last year! This year we are shooting for 10 Clarkies to attend the conference! We want to build a strong Clark presence within the National Organization. Also, GSOM has committed to providing up $500 of funding for EACH GSOM student who attends the conference for up to 10 students!!! Woot! Woot! This is a huge help and significantly lowers the costs for GSOM students who decide to attend the conference.
• Volunteer with Community Harvest at their Apple Orchard – tentatively planned for mid-September
• Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity in Wayland – tentatively planned for mid-October
• An opportunity to Network and find jobs and internships at the Massachusetts Green Careers Conference on October 1st. This is a great event for which GSOM can help reimburse you for conference fees and travel costs!   http://www.massgreencareers.org
