Minute to Win it Speaking Challenge: Friday, April 10th

Clark Women in Business is proud to present “Minute to Win it Speaking Challenge” on Friday, April 10th from 1:00pm-3:00pm in Carlson 120.

The Minute to Win it Speaking Challenge is a mini-self debate judged by GSOM’s student-nominated best MBA Professors, Thomas Murphy and David Correll. Participants will pick a topic out of a jar, have 30 seconds to prepare, and will then speak for one minute in favor of the topic and then one minute against the topic. This event is open to all genders and departments, including undergraduate students. The goal of this event is to enhance your public speaking skills and stage presence.

There will be prizes for the participants who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd:

  • 1st Place Prize: $50 Amazon Gift Card
  • 2nd Place Prize: $25 Peppercorn Gift Card
  • 3rd Place Prize: $15 Acoustic Java Gift Card

Free lunch will be provided to all students who attend The Minute to Win it Speaking Challenge, don’t miss out!
