Climate Change Teach-In Sessions

Climate chaos is and will increasingly alter our world. The changes taking place in the Earth’s biosphere are re-defining the human future in ways we are only beginning to fathom; business as usual is no longer possible. How might we at Clark respond in our educational commitments and as a community? The Teach-in is an opportunity to better understand this crisis collectively, and to consider our responsibilities and opportunities as educators, students and citizens.
David Correll, Assistant Professor in GSOM, will be presenting “Climate Change and Supply Chain Management” on Thursday, March 26th from 4:30pm-5:30pm in Dana Commons. Historically, supply chains have been designed and managed to maximize value for their end customers. Today, however, many forward-looking thinkers are also designing and managing their supply chains with an eye on climate change.  We’ll take a big picture look at what this means in theory and in practice.
