“Green Stories from Home” General Interest Session: Sunday, February 22nd

A “Green Story From Home” is any narrative that demonstrates how conservation, sustainability, or respect for the earth is practiced in your home culture or a culture you have experienced. Consider experiences from home as well as experiences from work, internships, field trips, travel, study-abroad programs, and other contexts. Recognizing that the set of sustainability practices in place at Clark is one among many, we seek to create a forum in which to listen to and learn from green practices from other places and cultures. This project will simultaneously enrich, encourage, and celebrate eco-friendly practices at Clark.

Students can tell their “green story” through photojournalism, video, writing, or other means! Want to learn more? Come to the Green Stories from Home General Interest Session on Sunday, February 22nd at 3:00pm in Rosenblatt Conference Room (located in the Higgins University Center). Can’t make the session? E-mail greenstoriesfromhome@gmail.com to learn more.

Domestic and International Students are encouraged to attend and take part in the “Green Stories from Home” Project. Participating in this project and sharing your “green story” will allow students to:

  • Showcase and share your experiences, culture, and first-hand knowledge
  • Boost your resume (you will be contributing to a university-wide project!)
  • Let your creativity shine
  • Connect your narrative to your academic work or area of study
