NEW COURSE Added to Spring 2015 Schedule

This very exciting new course has just been added to the spring 2015 schedule as a special topics offering! It is open to ALL students (MSA/MBA/MSF) and the only prerequisite is ACCT4100 or waiver. This is one of the hottest topics in the accounting and business world today. Paul Dubrey will be teaching this, he is not only a CPA but a CFE, a Certified Fraud Examiner and has a great deal of experience professionally in the area of Fraud as well as teaching this and other courses on Fraud at many schools. This course will develop the student’s understanding of what forensic accounting and fraud examination is and

how it pertains to both civil and criminal matters. The student will gain a basic understanding of the characteristics

of fraud, fraud prevention and detection, investigative techniques, asset recovery, and the use of information

technology in this interesting and growing profession.

Course Outcomes
