Professor Alt has chosen to post the graduate assistant position with him for the Spring 2015 semester a little early. Please see the position description below.

Position Information: Graduate Assistant for Chris Alt, Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance; 6 hours per week, schedule to be worked out with professor. Deadline to Apply: 4pm on Friday, December 19th.

Position Description: The graduate assistant will aid the professor for the FIN 5310 Cases in Derivatives course. He or she will meet with students to review assigned homework problems and help to answer additional student questions. The GA will also correct exams using a solution sheet provided by the professor.

Special Requirements: Required Completed Coursework: Students should have previously completed FIN 5310 Cases in Derivatives. Familiarity w/Specific Software: Student should be well skilled in using Excel.

Preferred Skills: Communication skills (proficiency in English speaking/writing implied), self-motivation/ability to work with little supervision, ability to explain finance and investment concepts to others.
