The BAT is a global standardized online exam that assesses your abilities as a critical thinker across a variety of competencies. It then enables you to showcase your strengths relative to thousands of other test takers to 25K+ recruiters at elite global investment and financial institutions. The BAT helps students and recent graduates connect with financial employers worldwide. The test was developed in partnership with premier financial institutions and university faculties around the world. Students who take the BAT uncover their strengths across a range of finance, business, career and personal competencies and gain insight into their suitability for careers in business and finance.

After taking the test, students can enter their scores anonymously into the BAT Talent Search, a tool used by employers to identify candidates for entry-level roles in business. Employers can view student profiles anonymously and may elect to contact students with testing profiles complementary to their available career opportunities.

All students in who take the BAT in September will be offered the chance to take advantage of the BMC Incentive program. September test takers will have free access to the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC). BMC will be a web-based learning course that makes use of over 70 Bloomberg Terminal functions to introduce the close interrelation between Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities and Economic Indicators. Most financial training deal with these asset classes + economics separately, but we want to show students how professionals use their understanding of the interplay between them to their advantage. The course will consist of 5 modules on the aforementioned asset classes + economic indicators, and should take 6-8 hours to complete. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. This course will launch in early 2015, and will be available free to all September BAT test takers then.
