Clark University CLOSED – Tomorrow – Monday, October 29

Due to safety concerns for members of the Clark community with the predicted high winds and heavy rains and the declaration of a state of emergency in Massachusetts, the decision has been made to close the University on Monday. There will be no classes held tomorrow and all events scheduled in University facilities are canceled. Essential personnel from University Police, Physical Plant, Residential Life and Housing, and Dining Services are expected to report for work.  Only emergency escorts will be provided by University Police tomorrow night.

The dining hall will offer breakfast and lunch in the Higgins Café tomorrow with lunch and all food services ceasing operations at 1PM. Students on the meal plan can pick up boxed meals for both their Monday dinner and Tuesday breakfast at the dining hall prior to the 1PM closing of food services. At this time, the dining services are planning to reopen for lunch on Tuesday, but that is subject to change. Any decision regarding the University for Tuesday will be made tomorrow and conveyed to the Clark community.
Should power outages make it difficult to access online information, University Police at 508-793-7575 will always have the latest information available.
