Paula Summa

Global General Manager, IBM.com

“Navigating a Career in a Large Global Corporation”

Paula Summa, Global General Manager of IBM.com, leads a 4,000+ person team, consisting of 44 global sales centers around the world. Over her 34 year career at IBM, Paula held many executive positions in several of IBM’s operating divisions. Her previous position was Chief Financial Officer of the Global Sales and Distribution function. In that role she led a staff of 7000 financial professionals. Five years ago, her career took a new direction with her appointment as Global General Manager of ibm.com where her team has responsibility for all of IBM’s websites globally. In addition to providing information and content, ibm.com is also a strong sales channel for many of IBM’s products and customers. Paula graduated from Pace University, summa cum laude, with a BS in Accounting, and was valedictorian of her graduating class. While working at IBM, she earned an MBA in Finance from Pace University.
