Clark featured in Princeton Review’s ‘Guide to Green Colleges’ for the 7th consecutive year

Each year, Princeton Review releases a guide to some of the most environmentally responsible colleges in the United States, featuring Clark in their “Guide to 375 Green Colleges: 2017 Edition.”

The highlight points out key sustainable features of Clark, including our “bold” Climate Action Plan to reach zero emissions by 2030; our cogeneration plant; which provides heat and power for up to 70 percent of the campus; our student-run Recycling Crew and their 50 percent diversion rate; the compost program, which composts 100 percent of food and paper waste from Higgins Café; and the on-campus Electric Vehicle charging stations.

Colleges are rated on over 25 criterion points, and only schools with a score above 80 made the guide. Clark scored a 90 on the assessment.
