In conjunction with the Department of Athletics and Recreation, the Clark University men’s basketball program will honor alum and former men’s basketball assistant coach Pat Oroszko ’03 on Saturday, December 10 it has been announced.

Pat Oroskzo ’03 Day will center around the men’s basketball non-league game against Western New England scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.

Pat and his family will be honored prior to the start of the game and the first 300 fans will receive a t-shirt. The Department of Athletics is asking that all fans wishing to see the pregame ceremony be in the gymnasium by 12:45 p.m.

After an incredibly courageous fight with cancer, Pat passed away in June of this year.

He was a four-year letterwinner for the Cougars and a two-time captain who also served as an assistant coach for seven seasons. During his playing career, he played on four straight NCAA tournament teams and made two consecutive trips to the Elite Eight. Pat’s wife Courtney is also a 2003 Clark University graduate and they have two young children, Allison and Ryan.

In lieu of tickets, donations will be accepted upon entrance to the game and the money raised with be donated to the American Cancer Society’s NABC Coaches vs. Cancer in honor of Pat. To make a donation in honor of Pat, please click here
