Students zero-waste Clarkie-Palooza during orientation

If you were at Clarkie-Palooza during orientation, you might have noticed some excited folks standing by waste bins. These students, part of Clark’s student-run Recycling Crew, helped new Clark students sort their waste into bins for recycling, compost and the landfill: something we at Clark call zero-waste. Since the plates and utensils were compostable along with the food scraps, nearly everything used at the event found a new home outside of the landfill!
