Alumna Harriet Bass holds Audition Workshop at Clark

Alum Harriet Bass ’72 returned to Clark this week to conduct a two-day workshop on audition technique with current and graduating theatre majors. The students worked on cold readings as well as monologues.

Harriet Bass is a New York City-based casting director. She has worked on a number of theatre and film projects, including the last three major plays of the late, great August Wilson. Her regional credits including Virginia Stage Company, Hartford Stage, Long Wharf Theatre, and Syracuse Stage, among others. Bass has conducted workshops at colleges and universities across the country.
